Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Shaheed Path, Lucknow, welcomed over 300 talented participants from 16 premier schools for the 11th edition of its flagship inter-school festival, Razzmatazz 2026, held on October 28, 2026. Centred on the inspiring theme, “The Turning Point: Embracing
Change and New Beginnings”, the grand event celebrated youth creativity, collaboration, and learning beyond traditional classroom boundaries.

Students from Pre-Primary through Grade XII showcased their diverse talents across a dynamic range of disciplines, including music, art, dance, dramatics, mythology, panel discussions, live broadcasting, LEGO engineering, robotics, and physical agility challenges.

Understanding “The Turning Point”: Why This Theme Matters Today

The central theme for Razzmatazz 2026, “The Turning Point: Embracing Change and New Beginnings”, was purposefully chosen to resonate with the defining developmental phase of today’s young learners. In a rapidly evolving modern world shaped by technological shifts, environmental challenges, and dynamic social landscapes, students frequently encounter moments that demand courage, adaptability, and decisive action.

A turning point represents that pivotal moment when a conscious choice transitions into meaningful action. For young minds, recognizing a turning point fosters a growth mindset. It encourages students to embrace change rather than fear uncertainty, view challenges as catalysts for personal growth, and explore new perspectives across arts, science, and leadership. Every competition at Razzmatazz 2026 was curated to reflect this ethos, prompting students to step out of their comfort zones, reimagine traditional narratives, and discover their potential as future leaders and innovators.

Inauguration: Inspiring Leadership and Vision

The festival commenced with grand splendour, featuring the traditional lighting of the lamp, a graceful prayer dance, and a soul-stirring musical presentation by the host students. Principal Ms. Poonam Kochitty officially inaugurated the event, welcoming participants, teachers, and distinguished guests.

“Education is about preparing children for the real world, which is exactly why we created Razzmatazz. In its 11th edition, ‘The Turning Point: Embracing Change and New Beginnings’, the festival encouraged students to explore new ideas, challenge conventions, and discover how a choice can become an action. Razzmatazz gives students from different schools and age groups a platform to find their voice, learn from one another, and build confidence through healthy competition.”

Valedictory Ceremony: Rhythms of Transformation

The festival concluded with a high-energy valedictory ceremony. Host students delivered an impressive live band performance, setting the stage for closing Chief Guest Mr. Tanmay Mukherjee, acclaimed percussionist and founder of the Tanmay Drum Circle. Known for his pandemic initiative that introduced over 1,500 students to rhythm using discarded household materials, Mr. Mukherjee captivated the audience with an interactive percussion act. He urged students to discover their inner rhythm and nurture their creative passions. The event officially concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Razzmatazz Coordinator Ms. Sangeeta Batra.
