The Sub Junior and Junior State Swimming Championships for School Students were held between 03rd August – 06th August’23 at Guru Govind Singh College, Lucknow.

The event showcased the immense talent and dedication of young swimmers from various schools across the state. It aimed to provide a platform for budding swimmers to compete at a competitive level and promote the sport of swimming among school students.

The list of students participated along with their achievements are:

1) Vanshika Rai VII C – 100 mts free style, 200 mts free style, 400 mts free style

2) Nirwan Singh VII C – 200 mts free style, 400 mts free style

Vanshika Rai won the silver medal for the event 100 mts free style relay along with a bronze medal in 200 mts free style relay.

The Sub Junior & Junior State Swimming Championships concluded with a grand closing ceremony. Winners were felicitated with medals and trophies, acknowledging their hard work and exceptional performance. This ceremony also served as a platform to inspire young swimmers to continue pursuing their passion for swimming. The success of the Swimming Championship could not have been possible without the dedication and efforts of the organizing committee, volunteers, coaches – Mr. Satyendra Kumar Nishad & Ranjani Sahani.
