Among the constellation of enriching activities, Enact: Speech Competition stood out as an avenue for students to eloquently exhibit their grasp of the SDGs. Ink and Intellect: Writing and Speech Competition merged the realms of writing and oration, prompting students to compose written pieces addressing sustainable development themes and then present them with finesse and conviction. In Shark Tank, drawing inspiration from the famed TV show, students pitched innovative solutions to real-world sustainability challenges, stimulating creativity, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving. This exercise in creativity, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving not only tested their intellectual acumen but also nurtured a culture of audacious thinking.Second Life Showcase: Best out of Waste centered on waste reduction and recycling. This event spotlighted students’ resourcefulness as they transformed discarded materials into practical and visually appealing items. In Poster Making, the students harnessed their artistic skills to craft visually compelling posters, shedding light on specific SDGs and the importance of sustainable practices.
The summit was graced by the presence of Mr. Priyank Jain, the co-founder of SoupX, a pioneering D2C food-health-tech startup. His startup is dedicated to facilitating a seamless transition to a healthier lifestyle for individuals. Mr. Jain, a TEDx speaker, gained significant recognition by being featured on Shark Tank India and securing funding from Ms. Vineeta Singh, the CEO of Sugar Cosmetics.
