The IEYC Exit Point for the theme “This is Me” was conducted at the Kindergarten of Seth Anandram Jaipuria on May 11, 2024. This immersive event invited children and their parents to explore a variety of learning stations, designed to reinforce the concepts learned throughout the theme. Participants delved into the whimsical tale of “Scat the Cat,” discovering the power of curiosity and self-expression. Through storytelling and sequencing activities, families engaged in critical thinking and comprehension exercises. In the Academics in Action room, parents actively participated in their child’s learning journey, engaging in literacy, numeracy, STEAM, and sensory exploration activities. This interactive environment fostered collaboration and showcased the children’s academic progress. Meanwhile, in the Rhyming Session, children exuded confidence as they recited rhymes with vibrant actions, demonstrating linguistic development and expressive communication skills.
At the Art Station, parents and children collaborated to create Mother’s Day cards, showcasing their creativity and fostering a sense of appreciation and connection. The Sports Station integrated literacy with physical activity, promoting teamwork, competition, and fun. Outside, children enthusiastically engaged with learning stations, honing their creativity and problem-solving skills.The Dance Station provided an opportunity for parents and children to bond while enjoying vibrant beats and promoting physical activity in an inclusive setting. Finally, Harmony Haven offered a symphonic delight as families uncovered their musical talents and harmonized together, creating a melody of love and affection.
The highlight of the event was when Miss Monika Srivastava, the Pre-Primary Coordinator, dressed as a grandmother, enlivening the atmosphere with playful questions about the day, date, and weather, adding a touch of joy and excitement to the proceedings
The parents were thrilled to see their children in action during the exit point, reliving their own childhood as they engaged in the activities alongside their little ones. Witnessing their children express themselves and demonstrate what they had learned filled the parents with joy and pride. They appreciated how the event provided them with insights into their children’s educational journey, allowing them to participate and bond while discovering the depth of their children’s knowledge and creativity. Overall, the IEYC Exit Point was a resounding success, showcasing the children’s growth, creativity, and enthusiasm for learning.
