The High School Startup League, held at Masters Union in Gurugram, invited students from classes 9-12 to pitch their business ideas. Our school’s team—comprising of 11th graders Avika Tyagi, Aditi Tiwari, Tiya Agarwal, and Prashubh Purwar—won three rounds, including the final voting round, and advanced to the grand finale alongside 14 other teams. Competing against over 100 schools worldwide, they made it to the grand finale after an intense selection process.

During a two-day program, the students received training from Masters Union’s expert trainers. They presented their ideas to a distinguished panel of judges, including Ms. Priyanka Gill, CEO of Popxo; Mr. Arjun Vaidya, CEO of Dr. Vaidya’s New Age Ayurveda; and Mr. Shantanu Deshpande, CEO of Bombay Shaving Company.

Our team’s concept, “Bandhan,” caught the judges’ attention and resulted in a grant of ₹1.5 lakhs from Mr. Arjun Vaidya, with an additional ₹50,000 from Ms. Priyanka Gill. The students will also receive mentorship from both CEOs to help bring their business idea to life. This experience provided valuable exposure to real-world problems and innovative solutions, offering them a glimpse into the entrepreneurial landscape.
