Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Lucknow celebrated the brilliance and exceptional achievements of the students, on 1st May 2024. The event commenced with the solemn lighting of the lamp, seeking blessings of the almighty.

Ms. Poonam Kochitty, the Principal, delivered an inspiring message emphasizing the importance of character development alongside accolades. She stressed on the involvement of parents for the holistic development of the children encouraging parents to volunteer in school events. Ms. Kochitty affirmed that parents as primary caregivers influence and shape their children’s lives. She advised parents to allow children to experience their academic journey instead of straining them for a perfect academic report card. She also accentuated the need for regular attendance of the students. Furthermore, she illustrated how involvement of the parents and their active presence in school events and award ceremonies gives confidence and motivates students to excel in life, ‘… their eyes seek you.’

Followed by the speech a soul-stirring prayer song evoked a sense of tranquility and spirituality in the gathering, setting the tone for the evening. As the ceremony unfolded, a poignant display of past years’ achievements served as an inspiration, encouraging students to excel in both academics as well as extra-curricular activities.

The highlight of the ceremony was the announcement of the Academic Excellence Awards, recognizing students who had demonstrated outstanding scholastic aptitude in their respective classes. The school believes that these recognitions and accolades not only celebrate their academic prowess but also instill in them the drive to persist in their pursuit of overall excellence.

Following the academic awards, the ceremony moved on to the Co-scholastic Awards, which aimed to acknowledge students’ exceptional talents and skills in various areas. Students who had demonstrated outstanding abilities in sports, arts, music, and other extracurricular activities were recognized. The diverse range of talents showcased during this segment highlighted the well-rounded development of the students and celebrated their achievements beyond the academic realm.

Head Mistress Ms Shilpi Kumar in her motivating speech highlighted the importance of primary education and the role of parents. She encouraged parents to assist students in homework, encourage questions, listen to their problems, and help them develop a passion for learning. Active involvement helps children thrive in a rapidly changing world. She also stressed on the importance of teacher parent collaboration to help set a positive learning foundation for students.

The Honor Roll segment acknowledged students who consistently demonstrated exemplary behaviour throughout the year. Their sustained efforts, kindness, discipline, and commitment to excellence were celebrated, inspiring their peers to strive for academic success with unwavering dedication.

The presence of proud parents added a heartwarming touch to the proceedings, highlighting the importance and role of parents in nurturing young talents and building a strong bond with the school.

The grand finale dance featured a mesmerizing performance that left the audience spellbound, reminding them of the importance of continuous improvement and future growth.

Ms Shilpi Agarwal, the headmistress senior wing presented a heartwarming vote of thanks to the gathering. She stressed that true success is not measured by academic excellence only. She requested parents to discuss failures, stop drawing comparisons, and monitor the use of gadgets.

The Star Student Awards 2024 ceremony served as a reminder that academic excellence, coupled with values and character development, is the key to personal and professional success. It left a lasting impact on the gathering, inspiring them to strive for even greater achievements and embody the school’s ethos of holistic growth and ethical values.
