
The students of Grades XI and XII were privileged to attend an insightful and inspiring session by Mr. Kunal Batra, Director of Gomti Healthy Nutrients Pvt. Ltd., the maker of one of Uttar Pradesh’s leading bread brands—Gomti Bread and BranO. Mr. Batra, an accomplished Chemical Engineer from BITS Pilani and an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, brought a unique perspective on entrepreneurship, sustainability, and innovation.
“Baking Dreams: How a Simple Loaf Can Build a Sustainable Business”, the session focused on how everyday products, like bread, can serve as the foundation for a successful and environmentally conscious business. Mr. Batra shared his journey from working in global financial firms such as Credit Suisse and Citibank to becoming a food entrepreneur deeply invested in sustainable practices.
As the Chair for the CII Young Indians (Yi) Lucknow Chapter’s Climate Change Vertical, he emphasized the role of young changemakers in building responsible enterprises. He encouraged students to think beyond conventional career paths and to explore opportunities where passion, innovation, and purpose intersect.
